Lina
by Alexandra Felseghi
Duration: 2 h 40 min (without break)
Premiere: 19.20 November 2024
”The performance LINA "is inspired by real events without aiming to reenact them. It tells the story of a public shaming, a so-called local electoral 'sexgate' that captivated the 1990s. The performance focuses on a slice of life of innocent people who end up being used as pawns in major political games, becoming victims of media lynching.
This production is the third part of the Injustice Trilogy, written by playwright Alexandra Felseghi and directed by Adina Lazăr, completing a panoramic view of Romanian society by addressing real and recognizable events for the audience, presented through the lens of fiction.
The audience is presented with a cascade of events converging toward the central idea of the performance: that life is entirely dependent on the context in which we live, that there is a Great History shaping our own course in one way or another, but once every five years, we have the chance to improve this History."

Peter Pan
Duration: 1h 25min (without break)
Genre: Musical for children
"Peter Pan", staged on the stage of the Andrei Muresanu Theater, is a story full of magic, adventure and innocence, which captivates audiences of all ages. The show brings to life the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie and Cristian, transporting them to a land of eternal childhood, where time seems to stand still and imagination knows no bounds.
The show focuses on Peter Pan's free and brave spirit and his conflicts with Captain Hook, the fearsome pirate. At the heart of the story is Peter's attempt to save his friends from the pirates, a symbol of the struggle between good and evil, childhood and coming of age. On stage, the pirates become both a comic and frightening force, while the rest of the characters support Peter in all his challenges.
Through a combination of action, humor and sensitive moments, the show manages to balance fantasy with profound life lessons about friendship, courage and the power of imagination.
The innovative direction breathes new life into the familiar story, and the colorful sets and costumes create a fairy-tale atmosphere into which the audience is invited to escape. Dynamic choreography and music add energy and excitement to the whole production.
This stage adaptation from the Andrei Muresanu Theater will make you smile, dream and believe again in the power of immortal stories.

Memetics
Duration: 60min (without break)
Genre:
MEMETICS* is an archive of digital culture, a performative space of hyperlinks transferred in the body, on which the author intervenes through actions of remixing and re-contextualization. The generation and spread of information online, analogous to the phenomenon of the spread of viruses, changes the perception of reality and is transferred into the mode of cultural production.

Starting from memes**, the performance aims at hybridizing bodies, placed between the real and the virtual plane of the avatar. In terms of technique, MEMETICS proposes juxtapositions of transgressive, critical and post-ironic elements that blur the boundary between public and private.
The performance proposes a scrolling, fragmented vision of reality with pop elements, trends, internet slang and viral images promoted in the Web 2.0 era.

*Memetics = the theoretical and empirical science that studies the reproduction, spread and evolution of memes.
**Memes, memes = small cultural units of transmission, analogous to genes, that spread from one person to another by copying or imitation (from songs, slogans, fashion, abstract beliefs such as belief in God to 9GAG).

Anatomia unei sinucideri
Duration: 2h (without break)
Show genre:

Adapted by Diana Mititelu after Alice Birch, Anatomy of a Suicide is the story of three women, Carol, Anna, and Bonnie, told in three simultaneous planes of action, forming a tapestry of grief together. Events from three different periods - the 1970s, the 1990s and the 2030s - coincide on stage. Exploring their inner devastation, at least two women are determined to cut their existential thread.
The themes that govern the performance - depression, anxiety, loneliness, the status of women - are extremely present in our cultural space and bring to the spectator's attention the effects they have on those who experience them, but also on the people close to them.

Mobilă și durere
Duration: 1 h 50min (without break)
Genre: +14
"Teodor Mazilu wrote, almost half a century ago, a text that is extremely topical nowadays, about a society that hasn't changed that much, in which the financial situation and "packaging" are the priority.
Despite these deceptive appearances, happiness has to be sought elsewhere. For the performance directed by Cristian Ban, "Furniture and Pain" at the "Andrei MureÈ™anu" Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe, we designed a set design that combines elements from the 70s and modern elements.
We wanted to simplify the space, thanks to the director's vision and the characteristics of the hall. The scenographic universe is in the form of an intimate space, with walls with riffles and LED, with furniture elements reduced to a minimum. The airy riffles, without a solid background, suggest the expression "the walls have ears", so prevalent in the communist period; at the same time it represents a new way of enhancing such a common material as wood, a raw material also used by the two companies described by Teodor Mazilu. In this minimalist setting, the actors' acting is beautifully shaped, with them in the foreground.
The costumes, chromatically adapted to the shades of the set and inspired by the fashion of the period, provide a blend between the period of communism and the year 2023," says Irina Chirilă, the set designer who created the set.

Sakura Sandwich

Show genre:
"'Sakura Sandwich' is both an ode and an ode to contemporary internet culture, with all its strange sub-niche. MistyK13 is a content creator whose fans have faithfully followed her through countless eras, through all the transformations, from the oblique bangs on Hi5 to the fatalistic poems and cigarette smoke on Tumblr.
Today, videos of her sharing a personal philosophy inherited from her late Spanish father - while dancing to reggaeton - go viral on TikTok. But that all changes when Misty ends up in one of the few areas of the internet that's entirely foreign to her, on a plumbers' forum, where she enters to get rid of the bathroom smell and finds love.
Her virtual world is enriched by a new realm, which she meets through emails from plumber Traian: the real world. Between these two worlds, between the real and the fantastic, Misty is about to step into a new era. But RichWitchBitch6669, an Onlyfans witch, is plotting something else for her. "

La Ronde
Duration: 2 h 10min (without break)
Performance genre: +18
LA RONDE by Yann Verburgh offers us interwoven stories in which each character experiences an intimate encounter with the next, exploring the diversity of identities and amorous and sexual practices that are revealed in our contemporary society. ""La Ronde " is first and foremost a political and intimate manifesto about sexuality.

Yann Verburgh's play is a courageous text that speaks unashamedly about the polyvalence of love relationships in our age, on the verge of a new sexual revolution.
What intrigued me about the play's theme was the fact that the love relationship between two or more people cancels out the social statuses of the characters, and this allows the stage to portray a universe in which diversity and inclusion play the leading role.
In the form of a contemporary cabaret, I aimed with this show to sublimate the concerns and aesthetics of the twenties of our century, to be explored theatrically in a subversive key, but with a large dose of sensuality and candour," says director Eugen Jebeleanu

Blasted
Duration: 1h 45min (without break)
Show Genre: Drama The show features nudity, violence, licentious language, and visual and auditory aggression, with a strong emotional impact.
Not recommended for people under 18.
"My intention was to approach abuse and violence with frustrating candor. All the violence in the play has been carefully constructed and dramatically structured to say what I want to say about the war. The logical consequence of that attitude that underlies an isolated rape in England is to be found in the rape camps in Bosnia. And the logical consequence of the behavior that society expects of men is war.
War is confusing and illogical, so it would be wrong to use a predictable form. Acts of violence simply happen in life, they don't have a dramatic crescendo and they are horrific. The same happens in the play. The critics would prefer something contrived or lavish about violence," Sarah Kane said in 1995.
Tackling subjects such as cannibalism, rape, murder, racism, war, mental disorders, brutality and aggression in physical or emotional forms, Kane creates bloody links between micro-terror and macro-terror, individual violence and violence waged with tanks on a nation/continent/planet level, dissecting in vivid detail the wounds and traumas of a humanity that is always finding justifications for its cruelties.

Richard III
Duration: 2h 50 min
Genre:
The new theater production is a postmodern take on the famous playwright's play. Both the costumes and the set are brought up to the present day while retaining a number of elements that suggest the style of the Victorian era. In addition, the director has remained faithful to the original text, making the staging a successful combination of new and old. Richard III, in the version launched by TAM, received financial support from the AFCN because of the novelty it brings.

This novelty is reflected in the production's double perspective, offline and online. The offline perspective is a circular one, realized by arranging the spectators' seats on three sides. In this version, the spectator is placed in the middle of the action. The online perspective is designed for VR360 technology and gives singularity in the sense that it is addressed to a single spectator who becomes part of the action.
